ActionPock terms & license
These terms cover the ActionPock Windows application and the licenses sold on this site. By installing ActionPock or buying a license, you agree to them.
The software
ActionPock is a local-first Windows launcher. Your actions, workflows, settings, memos, and scripts are stored on your own PC, and the app works without an account. How your data is handled is described in the privacy policy.
Free trial and free tier
A new installation starts a 30-day free trial with all features unlocked; no account, payment details, or email are required. When the trial ends, ActionPock continues as a free tier: you can keep a limited number of top-level actions and workflows, while running them may be blocked or capped unless you have an active paid license. Activating a license removes those limits for the purchased term.
Your license
Buying a license grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use ActionPock without the free-tier limits, on the number of PCs and for the duration your plan covers:
- Personal — up to 3 PCs
- Power User — up to 10 PCs
Durations are 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, or Forever. Forever licenses are perpetual and do not expire. Timed licenses end on their term date; afterward Free limits apply again until you buy another license. There is no auto-renewing subscription. Updates are included for the term of your license.
Activation and devices
Your license key (AP-…) is delivered by email after Stripe confirms payment, and is activated in the app together with your purchase email. Each activation occupies one of your plan's PC seats. You can remove a PC at any time — in the app's License page or on Manage license — and activate another machine in its place. One email address can hold one active license at a time.
You may upgrade an active license to a higher seat count and/or longer term (including Forever) for a prorated charge based on remaining value. Upgrades keep the same license key and device activations. For timed plans, the new term starts on the upgrade payment date. Expired licenses are not upgraded — buy a new license instead.
A license may be revoked if the associated purchase is refunded or a payment dispute is resolved against us, or if the key is shared or used beyond the plan's seat limit. If you lose your key, recovery issues a replacement and invalidates the old one while keeping your existing device activations.
Purchase and payment
Purchases and upgrades are processed by Stripe; prices are shown in USD and Stripe may present local-currency estimates or additional payment methods for your location. We never see or store your full card number. A key is issued only after Stripe confirms a new purchase — reaching a confirmation page alone does not create a license. Upgrade payments change the plan on your existing key after Stripe confirms payment.
Updates
Direct installations are updated through Windows App Installer using the .appinstaller file from the download page; Microsoft Store installations update through the Store. Updates are never forced, do not interrupt running workflows, and are not required for offline use.
Acceptable use
CMD and PowerShell actions run commands with your own Windows permissions. Only save and run scripts you understand and trust. You are responsible for what your actions and workflows do on your machines.
Warranty and liability
ActionPock is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same extent, our total liability arising from the software or a license is limited to the amount you paid for that license. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms for future purchases; the version in effect at your purchase applies to your license. Material changes will be posted on this page.
